A Mother Cat & Her Kittens

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share a card I created for the new Addicted to Stamps challenge. The theme is

I have created a mother’s day card in cat’s theme. The card base is from Doohickey volume 13. Papers are from Lemon Crafts and blue mulberry paper. I decorated the card with ribbon, lace, doily, and paper flowers to give a soft and sweet look.
Magnolia Napoleon Jasper Mother's Day Card

The image is from Magnolia “Napoleon” stamp from Animals of the Year 2014 collection and “Jasper” stamp from A Christmas Story 2012 collection. The colors of five kittens were inspired by my cats. I decided to colored the mother cat in calico, as calico cats are female and she also matches with the kittens. I added light blue pom pom trim around the image because pom poms are cute and fluffy like kittens.

The paper flowers are in the same color combo as the card.

The alphabets are die cuts from Die-Versions “Little Lizzie” font. I added clear embossing enamel on top each letter to make the word “mom” even pop out.

I would like to enter this card to these challenges.

I always use distress ink to colour the fur as my cats’ colours. I have ginger, cream, grey, and bi-colour cats. All of them are my favourites. Here are the distress ink recipe for these colours.
Ginger – Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain
Grey – Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke, and Black Soot

Sweet Shabby Chic Festivity Tilda

Hello everyone! Today I have a card I made for Marvelous Magnolia challenge to share with you. The theme for this month challenge is
I have created this sweet shabby chic card in pink color. I layered Doohickey Edwin Rectangle Lace die cuts as the frames. The patterned papers are also from Magnolia. I enhanced the shabby chic look by adding some cheesecloth and shading the paper edges with distress ink. I also embossed the lamp post die cut (from Doohickey Paris Night) with shabby white embossing powder to get vintage look.

This cute Tilda is Magnolia “Dressed for Festivity Tilda” stamp from Lovely Emojis 2017 collection. I colored the stamped image with distress ink.

Strawberry Jam Jar Shaped Card

Hello! Today I have a card using The Paper Nest Doll May new release image to share with everyone. This image is called “Strawberry Jam Emma”.

I have created a jar shaped card with this image. I designed the jar shape by myself using rectangle shapes and round corners. The card base was made from red paper covered with clear embossing enamel to make it glossy like glass jar. Sadly, the photo doesn’t do it justice. The patterned papers are from Maja Design. Doily is from Cheery Lynn Designs die cut. I decorated the jar lid with chiffon trim, and help rope.

CAS Cat & Dog Card

Hello crafty friends! Today is the 1st of May so it’s time new challenge. The card I’m going to share today is the project I have created for 2 challenges. The first one is Magnolia Forever with the theme

And the Storie di Timbri challenge themed

I have created a CAS card featuring a cat and a dog playing in the field together. Even though I’m a cat lover, I think it’s fun to include a dog into this card. I hand stitched along the edges and randomly added paper flowers on the ground.
Magnolia Kitty Little Hoppy with Buttercup

The stamped image is from Magnolia “Kitty Kit” stamp from Spring Fever 2016 and “Little Hoppy with Buttercup” from Little Easter 2013 collection. I colored the image and background with distress ink.

The tag in the top left corner is from LOTV stamp and scalloped circle is from the smallest Spellbinders Lacey circle die. I added a button, paper flower and paper raffia to make it look more interesting.

The black and white cat was inspired by one of my cats. She is about 15 years old but still very pretty that everyone would fall in love including this naughty dog. That’s why the dog gives her a flower.

I would like to enter this card to these challenges.

Thank you for stopping by. Happy May day everyone!
